Our first stop was the IHOP in Anchorage for dinner. Barry turned down dinner on the plane so he could fill up with us! We then stopped at a scenic place called Bird Point. Barry was so surprised how much snow there was on the mountains. He then got to experience an authentic Alaska pit stop. Boy, was he surprised when he discovered that Alaskan rest areas are literally really pits! Our final stop was at 6 mile creek where lots of rafting often takes place on the swift water. Barry got to see his first bear and moose but they were too far away for pictures! Darn!
