We had to postpone our dipnetting trip once again as we woke up to the sound of pouring rain. However, we kept very busy this morning. Barry enjoyed a very filling breakfast of homemade, freshly ground whole wheat waffles made by our resident chef, Dan. He loved them and said he never had waffles like this ever before! Suzanne worked on Barry's photo album while Dan decorated the chocolate Teddy Bear cake Barry & Suzanne made yesterday along with the peanut butter frosting. However, after leaving it on the table unattended for awhile, Barry spotted Rascal eating the cake and scooted him right off the table but it was too late... an edge of it had happily devoured by our beloved (but not in this case!) basset hound! But there was still plenty left for all to enjoy. The cake was a hit and it was gone in no time (bottom 1st pic). We are sure that Barry's dad would have really liked it this time around! Kami and friend Jode played games on the Wii and we had a surprise visit from Kimberly's Navy friend Aaron (2nd row 1st pic) who just became a veteran and came up here to visit relatives.Welcome to Barry's Blog!
